D1.3 Private area- Internal Communication and Collaboration Platform

Publishable Summary

In collaborative research initiatives, communication is crucial for keeping all partners actively involved in the project. This includes on one hand the communication of the project and its results to potential stakeholders and on the other hand, we need to consider internal communication, i.e. facilitating the remote exchange of documents, optimizing the real-time involvement and update of all consortium members with regards to running and planned activities, and in overall ensuring an effortless partner-to-partner interaction upon which an effective collaborative spirit can thrive, and develop a successful project. To this end, Task 1.3: Administrative Coordination, included in the activities of WP1: Project Management, is dedicated to guaranteeing a good communication flow at all project levels, ensuring that all participants are clearly informed of the project developments, contractual obligations and requirements. In addition to face-to-face meetings, phone- or video-conferences and e-mails, the main communication tool of the consortium will be a password protected area, accessible through the project’s public website, aiming to act as an internal virtual collaborative space. The current report aims to present the strategy followed, the structure and functionalities defined, as well as the roles, rights and capabilities which are granted to the partners for the use of the SARAH private area.

D5.1 Definition of the conditions for guided aircraft ditching tests

In this report the conditions that will be used for the aircraft ditching tests to be performed at CNR‐INSEAN are presented. According to what planned in the original proposal and subsequent discussions within the consortium, four different test typologies will be considered, which correspond to the four tasks of the WP5. Namely they will be conducted on: double curvature rigid specimen, single curvature aircraft‐like structure, thin flat plates and scaled fuselage with dynamic pitch. The main features of the shapes and of the structures to be used in the test campaign as well as some aspects concerning with the instrumentation are provided together with the test matrix.

D7.1 Dissemination Action Plan

Publishable Summary

The efficient dissemination and exploitation of the important research results produced within the project is one of the key objectives of the SARAH Consortium. The aim of this deliverable is to report on the envisaged dissemination activities of the project results. The Dissemination Action Plan (DAP) of the project summarises the consortium’s strategy and concrete actions to disseminate and protect the foreground generated within the project and could serve as a guideline to the Consortium for the dissemination activities to be carried out in the context of the SARAH project.

The Dissemination Action Plan is one of the compulsory reports required to be submitted to the EC by all H2020 projects. This report is the first version of the DAP and outlines the intended actions towards the dissemination of results as well as the structure of the final plan. The aim of this deliverable is to describe the dissemination activities which demonstrate the added-value and positive impact of the project on the European Union. Dissemination activities will be performed during the three years of the project (October 2016 – September 2019) and after the end of the project. It is worth mentioning that as the resources dedicated to dissemination are restricted, cost-effective ways have been chosen to achieve the maximum of publicity for the project and its results. This initial deliverable aims at the presentation of a suitable dissemination plan for making the project and its results known all over Europe.

The deliverable is structured in the following four sections. The first section includes introductory information about the scope and objectives of the dissemination activities to be performed within the SARAH project. The second section presents the project’s Dissemination Action Plan, i.e., the dissemination strategy planned to be followed by the consortium in order to disseminate as effectively as possible the research activities performed and results achieved within the framework of the SARAH project. The third section focuses on the measures taken towards managing and protecting the IPRs of the consortium. Finally, the last section includes the concluding remarks of the deliverable.

D7.2 Project Website and Communication Pack

Publishable Summary

The communication of the SARAH results is of paramount importance for the project in order to maximize its impact and trigger effects across the project’s entire range of target audiences. To this end, a set of communication material was developed during the first months of the project, in order to facilitate partners in their dissemination, communication and networking activities. First of all, the SARAH logo was developed based on which the entire visual identity of the project was created. This later allowed the design and creation of the SARAH poster and leaflet; this material aims at providing a short, generic overview of the project’s objectives, challenges and expected results, towards attracting new SARAH end-users and maximizing the potential of commercial exploitation of the project’s results. Finally, the project website was developed and became available online in order to act as a 24/7 beacon of the project’s activities, progress and news, and to engage SARAH end-users. The current deliverable provides a brief reporting of the project website and communication material which were developed for the needs of the project, during the first months of its lifetime. It is worth noting that an updated version of the project’s communication material will be provided before the end of the project, while the SARAH website will remain continuously updated during the entire project lifetime.

D7.3 Mid-term report on the dissemination and communication of results

Publishable Summary

Research innovation is a driving force for economic growth, the creation of new job opportunities and the enhancement of the standard of living. It is therefore important to ensure that the knowledge generated within research and innovation projects is properly diffused and that the means through which such knowledge can be delivered to the society are being effectively explored. This is realized through the commercial exploitation of products and services, which is the primary way of delivering research results to the EU citizens. A commonly agreed Dissemination Plan was first explored and analysed in detail during the first months of the project. Following the previously-submitted deliverable D7.1: Dissemination Action Plan of the project results (submitted in M6), the current report is the third of a four-series deliverables presenting the evolvement of the consortium’s plan for dissemination activities and their realized actions, and it aims in this way to provide an overview and evaluation of the performed activities. The deliverable is structured in the following five chapters. The first chapter includes introductory information about the scope and objectives of the dissemination activities to be performed within the SARAH project. The second chapter presents the methodology adopted for the updating of the project’s Plan for the Dissemination of Results (SARAH PDR), while the third section presents the SARAH performed dissemination activities. The fourth section focuses on the performance assessment of the performed communication strategies. Finally, the last chapter includes the concluding remarks of the deliverable and the future steps of the dissemination activities.
