The SARAH timeline is updated with the progress of WP2!!!

From the beginning of the project important technical work has been performed within WP2.  

In particular, within October 2016 (M1) till May 2017 (M8), the following achievements have been realized: 

  • The modelling of a full aircraft to account for global deformations has been performed.

  • Towards enhancing low and medium fidelity a new discretization method was implemented in the ditch tool.

  • Development of neutral and generic geometries.

  • ECN in collaboration with CNR created a generic coupling interface between the SPH-flow and FE software in order to enable the exchange of MPI data between SPH and FE solvers.

  • INSEAN collaborated with ECN and NEXTFLOW Software on the development of the Smoothed-Particle Hydrodynamics (SPH) model. 

  • Detailed analysis of the data received from the Smoothed-Particle Hydrodynamics (SPH) simulation concerning preliminary test on water impact of a flat panel has been performed.
