WP1 - Project management

WP Leader: IBK-Innovation GMBH & CO. KG (IBK)

The overall objective of WP1 is to manage the ambitious and innovative work to be carried out in the SARAH project, to secure the prompt initiation and smooth running of the project’s activities, the within time and budget production of all deliverables and milestones, and the successful achievements of all targeted goals.

More specifically, WP1 objectives include:

  • Acting as the main interface between the EC, EASA and the consortium;
  • Ensuring that the activities in each of the different work packages (tasks, deliverables and milestones) are carried out in line with the agreed budget and timing;
  • Minimizing risks and accordingly developing contingency plans and corrective actions;
  • Managing all financial transactions and closely monitoring individual partner situations;
  • Delivering a password-protected virtual collaboration platform, so as to coordinate and facilitate partner interaction and communication;
  • Organizing remote (e.g. teleconference) and face-to-face meetings, in order to monitor and control project progress and outputs, and take the appropriate corrective actions;
  • Providing support and resolution of conflicts with regards to the IPR management, in collaboration with the Dissemination and Exploitation Manager;
  • The scientific management of the RTD objectives and the financial coordination will be carried out by the Project Coordinator (IBK). Non-scientific (administrative) support for reporting and internal communication will be carried out by EASN-TIS.

WP1 is organized around the following three tasks:

  • Task 1.1: Scientific and Technical Coordination
  • Task 1.2: Financial Management
  • Task 1.3: Administrative Coordination
